Abstract Photography

Seeking to to break away from traditional photographic representation and instead emphasize form, color, texture, and composition to create a new meaning or interpretation. My abstract photographs often depict non-representational or highly stylized subjects, mostly in our local environment, such as waves, weather, plants, animals, geometric shapes, patterns, or blur, and may be manipulated through techniques such as panning, long exposure, blur, cropping, layering, selective focus, and intentional camera movement (ICM). The goal of my abstract photography is to create a visual experience that evokes emotions, feelings, or ideas, rather than simply depicting reality.
